OK - so I went to the Ganz sale and it WAS FABULOUS!!!
I spent far more than my budget (that I grudgingly and painfully set for myself), but I had fun! It was mayhem, with mostly women everywhere, trying to obtain/steal shopping carts (which they never have enough of), and grumpy ones who just couldn't stand the crowded aisles and line ups to pay. Oh well, the sensible thing to do is NOT GO and leave more for us Ganz-a-holics!
I've admired my purchases and lovingly stuffed them away, either under that obligatory spare room bed, where I will forget about them for awhile or filed away in the appropriate drawers/cupboards where each respective thing "belongs".
Honestly, I over did it on candles; last year I made the mistake of not having my stacks of votives 4 feet high (like this year - see, smart cookie :p) and ran out far too quickly. BUT, this winter I'm going to be soooo happy in my scented home!
I'd just better remember to blow them out when I make my next trip over there... jm
